Sir,

THE

25

4, MILLBANK,

LONDON, S.W. I.

We are endeavouring to secure a passage to

Hong Kong for you on your return from leave, and we have to

bring the following matter to your notice.

If your wife is desirous of returning with

you, objection will not be raised, but it is considered

undesirable that children should go to Hong Kong in present

circumstances, and we shall be glad to learn by return of

post whether you are able to make arrangements for your

children to remain in this country and, if so, whether you

desire that a passage should be booked for your wife,

I am, Sir,

Your obedient servant,

for Crown Agents.
